Our Story
The Lisieux Way Community Group is a self-funded, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting social inclusion and community connection in Taunton. We provide a safe, welcoming space where people of all backgrounds can come together, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging. Through informal meet-ups, community activities, and peer support, we aim to reduce isolation and strengthen local ties. Our focus is on creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued, supported, and encouraged to connect.

Charity BBQ
On one of the hottest days of the year, friends, neighbours, and supporters came together in the beautiful back garden of Simon and Pauline Aldridge for a fantastic charity BBQ in support of the Lisieux Way Community Group. Despite the soaring temperatures, the day was filled with laughter, great company, and an incredible community spirit. Thanks to everyone's generosity, we raised valuable funds that will help the Lisieux Way Community Group continue its work supporting local people and bringing our community together.
A huge thank you goes to Simon and Pauline for so kindly opening their home and hosting such a wonderful event. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Ed Cullens Catering for their generous support of our cause by providing the delicious burgers and sausages that everyone enjoyed. Your kindness and generosity helped make the day such a success, and we are truly grateful. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported us—we couldn't do it without you.
